2015 Desert Challenge

Dear Coaches,

   On behalf of the Palm Desert High School baseball we would first like to thank you for your participation in the 2015 Desert Challenge.  This year’s tournament promises to be our best yet as we are expecting some of the best teams in Southern California.  We have gone out again and secured rooms at four area hotel for you to choose from to meet your teams housing needs.  These great rates are not only good for coaches and players but to family and friends who mention Palm Desert High School and the Desert Challenge.  We are requiring that you use one of the tournament sponsored hotels for your hotel accommodations.  We have also tried to simplify your travel arrangements by appointing travel coordination to work directly with your team to secure your hotel rooms as well as any other special arrangements that you might need. 

COACHES ONLY: BLOCKING ROOMS

     This year to simplify your team’s hotel needs we have appointed a housing coordinator, Steve Bohm, who can be reached by email at .  If you have any question regarding the hotels or are ready to book your room s we ask that everything be done directly through Steve.  The four hotels that you have to choose from as follows:

 The rate for the Embassy is $139 for a king and $149 for two beds.  This includes breakfast and the evening reception and there is no charge for parking.

Marriott Courtyard

     The courtyard is $112 per room, which does not include any food and again parking is free.

 

Marriott Residence Inn Palm Desert

      The rate is $124 for a Studio Suite, 2 bedroom suite is $164 and the deluxe 2 bedroom suite is $174 plus tax.  Parking is free and they come with a free breakfast, we have a limited number of rooms so book fast.

 

JW Marriott Desert Springs

   The JW is offering room rate of $112 plus tax and resort fee, with a $2 parking fee and there is no food offered at this price.
